Opportunities don’t happen, you create them. Most people wait for the perfect opportunity to come – the perfect career, the perfect spouse, the perfect whatever. But the reality is that more often than not, the perfect opportunity does not come. Even if it does come, most people don’t recognise it. It may come in the form of a tough initial assignment, a crisis that needs rolling up the sleeves and taking action.
Most opportunities need hard work to convert them into lasting benefits. Define your end goal, and work hard to create opportunities in the areas you want. Then take action. If you want more business, create a backend process that can handle more business, then network with potential clients, pitch to them, handle their objections, and ask for the business.
The more you do, the better you will get. You will start attracting opportunities. You will win in life.
